I had a baby July 11. I was a little worried how my two kitties would react when we brought her home. Well, I had my husband bring a blanket home first so they could smell the new baby.

When we brought her home, the cats were interested but nervous. I have to admit, they were off their kibble for a few days after we got home.

It has now been three weeks. We have had absolutely no problems. The cats are back to their normal, fat, spoiled selves and they occasionally sniff the baby. They really like all the new blankets that they get to lay on when I forget to pick them up and they are thrilled that I'm up at 3am!

Since I was so nervous, I thought I'd post that all was well for anyone who might be nervous about the same thing!

That's terrific, Cheryl! I think that was an inspired move to let the cats sniff one of the baby's blankets before you brought her home. Congratulations!
