Hello,

After beening born for almost two weeks, mum has started moving the kittens.
I now understand from other posts as to why she is doing it.

She now seems to want them under our bed, even though I have moved the box next to the bed and once even replaced the kittens.

Do I keep moving them, or just let mum put them where she wants them?
They should start getting mobile over the next week and I would like some way of controlling them!

Thanks,

Simon.

Sounds like a bit of a dilemma, having kittens under the bed could be noisy and troublesome when they start litter training.

Could you not block off the gap between the bed and the floor ? or perhaps use a deterrant spray on the floor near the bed ?

Our cat tried to move them into our bedroom so we just shut the door to stop her bringing them in, eventually she got the message and moved them into the kitchen instead, perfect for litter training and weaning !

Good luck

Thanks for the responses.

Our flat is hardly busy, so why she felt the need to move them I dont know.

I will move them out of the bedroom into another room and keep the door closed.

We do let her move around the flat so I wonder where I will find them next!
