weird wart like growth on B's ear..

Anyone know what this could be?



Bowser's had this on his ear for about 3-4 weeks now. It hasn't gotten any bigger, but it sometimes gets a crust over it, and this morning I noticed it had a little dried blood on it.. Anyone know what this is? I plan on taking him to the vet this week, I just figured I'd see if anyone here's seen anything like this and knows what it is.

It may be a non healing lesion. I am not sure what causes them but Fred has 2. They get scabby, then they eventually fall off and form another immediately. Fred's have gotten progressively bigger over the years.
