cat loosing chunks of hair?

now since we had the female cat come into our appartment for not long an then leaving again, teufel has been moping around like a sook, the past two days though i have found chunks of fur laying around his bed and kitchen carpet.
His fur is so soft right now but i am kind of worried..
DO you think there is anything wrong with him?

Maybe they had some fur-flying cat fights while the other cat was there and you're only now finding the fur? Only thing I can think of without further info, sorry.

Does he have any spots that look like he may be irritated? Or just where chunks of hair may have been pulled out?

no and nope.

THe other cat and he didnt touch each other.
i have no idea, people tell me its normal, its just soft balls that come out of him.
