Is it normal for a cat who has had Advantage 12 hours ago be still biting and licking/scratching her fur?

It certainly seems to be something! Because she keeps doing it and I can't see any fleas on her....Or maybe its just habit or her skin is still irritated from the fleas...

If your cat had a large number of fleas on her before you put the advantage on, the action of all those fleas twitching and dying can also drive your cat crazy. Once all the fleas are dead the irritation should stop. If she is allergic to the advantage- only the spot where you applied it would bother her.

Hey, I have a question about it. I put advantage on Annie a while back, and right where I put it, she lost her fur there, and she kept scratching at it, and it got raw. We figured she just didn't like it, but is that a reaction I should worry about?

Okie dokie. Thanks... I asked some people at the vet I work at, and they didn't know... never did get to ask the doctor though.
