my cat condo is done!

it took my husband six nights at a few hours each night but it's finally done!!! i'm so proud of him, i designed it and helped with the carpet but the bulk of it is his work, the cats love it too which is the most important thing


he says he didn't build our cats a condo, he built them a mansion















i'm sooo happy hey!

i actually thought pandy would be the one to go crazy over it but bonnie has been on it a lot more so far.

they are both asleep on it at the moment, pandy got the highest tower and bonnie has claimed leval three for herself, everytime she gets off to do something she goes back to the exact same spot

once bonnie claims an area to sleep in that's it lol

another great thing is pandy usually gets harassed by nassa when she's trying to sleep, nassa can't reach her on top of the cat condo though, nass tried to squeeze under bonnies level while bonnie was sitting on it and got a good swipe for her effort


it's so funny to watch them on it.

it isn't actually complete yet, we need a few more tacks for the carpet under the box and a few of the stands and there are two holes in the box that need to be cut out and have the carpet folded under, we also found a few spots that need a little glue but it's fine for the cats to be on, i can sit on it, so it's pretty strong...besides, we couldn't wait

i suppose it would be a lot cheaper to make it your self, but i cant help my self nand drool over the ones in stores.
I got an add yesterday for the pet store and there is this beautiful cat condo for 89 euros!

i might get this one or the very high one for when we move or maybe i will get ideas like you and make it my self

That's the one I've got (except in blue!) - can totally recommend it! I paid £89 for it, would have been cheaper to buy it in Germany and fly it over

Were the "nosy noses" supervising it's construction, or was it built in secret?
(I built one for mine a long time ago, of course they supervised my every move, then tore it up till it became such an eyesore I had to remove it!)
