Steve came home today. HURRAH..and he had fun with his kids. YAY...but somethings that he found out have made me even more livid against this ex..grrr..

Ex number one. POINT BLANK..POINT BLANK..told steves 10 year old daughter, "When the new baby gets her you have to take care of Tabby (the youngest at this point) as well as Levi (steves son) and, Jacob (the half brother she already takes care of as well as Levi) because I can only take care of one baby at a time"

AND..

Her and her...jobless..doesnt plan to get a job anytime soon. Fiance, are already planning on having another child after this one.. is it me..or is it time to try getting these kids to live HERE?

Um...let me think...she only has time to care for 1 baby at a time? THEN WHY HAVE MORE???!!! DUH, what an idiot.

IMO, those kids need a much more stable home. They could babysit the kitties! I'll bet they'd love that!

While I understand your frustration, and don't know the past stories
, you have to take second hand news from a 10 year old with a grain of salt (like you would from anyone)....She could have maybe said "I will need your help taking care of the other children"?? But again, I don't know for sure!!! I just know how hard it is when things get to someone via an ex to a child and then back to you....

What about a sit down with all the kids and feel them out as to what their thoughts are and how they like the living situation??? They may be very happy living with their mum and you don't want to go through court without their input (directly to you) first...

So messy, I feel for you...My friend has an ex wife who just had another baby but my friend (the dad) has primary custody of her first two...She doesn't wake up until about 1100 am and so the 12 year old daughter has to look after her brother and the baby when they are there...When they aren't, her new husband does...Some people just aren't fit but still have kids

Its hard to do a sit down, the kids live in kentucky, we live in Minnesota. While on some issues I would take with a grain of salt. this one...i dont really as its not the first time we have heard it. and Steve knows for a fact, through his mom, and his ex's mom! that Alex has been taking care of her brother, and half brother..

she even calls Levi her baby, that she raised him. which to me although sweet is sad. shes not a nanny or a mother shes a little girl
mature for her age yes. but..

All in all we are going to be looking into them moving here...

Poor little girl
SHe sure is going to grow up to resent her mother...
If I were the kids, I would much rather live in Kentucky around horses and sweet cats..
Hopefully it works out. Let us know..I hope it doesn't get messy and the mum thinks about what is really good for the kids and doesn't use them in a war against you and Steve.
