My cat has mastitis which prevents her from feedin her kittens, so we bought the baby formula and we have to force feed the kittens or they will not drink anything. I just have one question, how long does it take to cure mastitis? They gave us a medicine for her to take orally but we forgot to ask how long before she can feed the kittens again, does anyone know?

My kitty had the same thing and it went away in about a week or so as long as you don't miss any doses of the medicine.
Also ask the vet what you can do to keep her milk from drying up.
