When you see a bug in your home, do you kill it, ignore it, or take it outside?

hmm... i do a double take, get a closer look as to what kind of bug it is...

decide whether or not to start screaming or crying

search frantically for a shoe, newspaper, cereal box, anything

get a can of raid(i keep one in every room).... just in case i cant catch it(dont worry it gets cleaned up very well after the bug has terminated)

then i go ape-s**t on it with whatever weapon i have found(i hit it at least 30 times... just to make sure...you never know
)

then i grab a paper towl and pick it up and throw it in the trash

*on special occasions, if it does not move very fast, i will let the cats play with it first- but it still dies

If the bug is a cockroach or an ant, I kill it on sight. If it is a spider, I leave it alone. All other bugs get put out the window.

Depends on what kind of bug. Spiders and the lil winged beetle things are cat toys. Flys get swatted. I've never seen any other kind in my apt. Well the occasional moth but it's open season on them too where the boys are concerned.

It really depends on the bug. If it's something I can handle I panic for a moment, run and grab my bug vacuum, suck the stupid thing up, lock it in the "chamber" on the vac, bring the thing outside, and empty the bug from the vac out into the great outdoors hehe.

If it's something fairly large I usually panic and squeal for a bit. Then I have Brendan or whoever is closest kill it and flush it.

I just show it to one of the cats, or the dog, unless it's a beneficial species.

MOSTLY I ignore it BUT if it is a BIG BLACK Spider I will try to put a glass over it and a paper under it and set it free outside!

Movin' on up!
Moths are eaten, flies are either swatted or eaten and June bugs are caught and put outside. I've read that June bugs don't taste good, which is why the cats don't eat them. These are the only kinds of bugs, that are ever in my house.

W/ the best cats
Cockroach, mosquito, fly = instant death (KOS)
Spiders, butterflies, beetles = rescued and released
Moths, bees, wasps = c/o cats (either killed or chased outside)

My house is sure "buggy"

Depends on what kind of bug it is. If it stings or bites...it gets swatted!

I do all three, depending on what kind of insect the bug is, and whether or not it's being a health hazard, a nuisance, or just living its life.

Depends on the type of bug it is!

If I can catch it and it isn't too creepy...then it goes outside.

Sometimes we get the occasional big roach & I have to kill them-I wouldn't want the cats eating one of those gross things.
We get a fly or moth now & then, I leave them to entertain Mini.
Mike makes me kill or catch/release anything that gets in here..so I guess us girls are the hunters of the house!
