What wonderful & kind people in Vermont!! Thank goodness for the happy ending, poor little things. Like BigKittenDaddy, I wonder about the poor mama cat; hopefully, the South Carolina people have been notified & will take care of her - and if they do things right, get her spayed asap, so she doesn't have another litter. Then it will be a doubly-happy ending!

Those poor babies! I'm glad they are ok!

The
who put them in the box and should be packed up and see how he/she likes being shipped via fedex!

Under the cats, mostly.
I don't think it was done deliberately Diane - there are lots of stories in this world of cats and kittens just getting into places they shouldn't be and then travelling for miles. There was a white cat in the uk god knows how long ago that managed to get itself under the bonnet of a van, and was found when the driver got to the other end of his journey 250 miles away. The cat sustained minor burns because the engine obviously gets hot, but otherwise survived the traumatic event, only to do exactly the same a few months later. You'd think they'd learn. i'm so glad those little kittens were fine though, they were damned lucky to be alive, quite apart from the fact they were shipped with soemthing that had blades.

They have been covering this on the local news. The place they were found is about 3 hours from here. You should see what sweet little babies they are! The shelter has found homes for a few of them already.

That's a relief
But It's hard to image that whoever taped up that box didn't noticed those sweet little babies. They are so cute! I saw a clip of them on the news last night.
