My friend got this 12 week old male kitten yesterday. When she picked him up from the lady who gave him away, the lady said in front of my friend "what's wrong with his eye? oh, he must have gotten scratched, it's a bit weepy". She said this lady put in some drops and my friend took the kitten home. After about 24 hours the kitten's pupil is still dilated hugely. My friend said the kitten doesn't have any vision problems right now, but this is bothering her. She is going to take him to the vet, but she wanted me to write this to see if anyone has had a similar problem in the past or any ideas.
thanks!

Sorry, I have no idea what it could be. But it does sounds like the kitty needs vet attention. I'm glad she has an appointment for the little guy. Hope everything checks out ok!

When one pupil is larger than the other, it could be from head trauma. Could the kitten have fallen or (*gasp*) been hit by any chance?

interesting...(and horrifying). I don't know. apparently there were 10 cats living all together, maybe all kittens (?). My friend said she might call the lady. Poor baby kitten!!
