Need vibes for a *gasp* Job Interview!!

Well, I don't think I got the job in the shoe dept. of Belk. Another lady, from the ladies sportswear dept called me this morning and asked if I could come in and talk to her about working in her dept. She said the lady from the shoe dept and reccommended me to her. She said my class schedule wouldn't work out with the current associates in the shoe dept (other college students) so she wanted to see if my schedule could fit in with her dept. Oh well. I am so frustrated that it is so hard to find a part time job!! I have an EXCELLENT, well rounded work history with management experience and a freakin' college degree for goodness sake!! BUT I still have faith that "whatever is meant to be, will be"
. We just need a little extra to put toward tuition and books.

Oh Kelly, I'm so sorry it didn't work out with the shoe dept.
That dang nepotism at work....
Are you interested in sportswear? Hey, it may be worth a shot! You'd think it'd be much easier to find decent part-time work, huh?

I seriously hope things work out and that you find the part-time job that is right for YOU and is low-stress enough that you can focus on your classes!

Right now, I'm interested in ANY part time job
. Sportswear would be cool. I really want to work at Belk cuz you get your employee discount ON TOP of their sale prices and I shop there a lot----and they pay well above minimum wage. NO WAY could I go back to making minimum wage. I didn't even work minimum wage my FIRST time in college! And you're right, Amy------nepotism sucks!!!!!!

Well, guys---I'm back from the latest job interview and I HAVE A JOB NOW!!!!! I'm so excited!!! It's just enough hours so that I can make money but still really focus on my schoolwork (AVG. 25-30 hours). And, not to brag but it's really good money. I would've been happy with just the hourly rate alone but I'll get commission and other incentives!!!
I am tickled PINK !!!!!!!!!! My boss seems really fun and cool.

We sure do- a very nice one! I'm so jealous b/c you are going to be able to buy so many nice things with your employee discount! When do you start? Is it a long commute?

I start this Thursday morning at 10:30am. One benefit of a mall job is that your mornings are never TOO early.
Not that I mind, I'm really a morning person. It gives me time to work out before work. It's about a 15-20 minute drive from my house (depending on traffic).

I am super excited about getting the employee discount. I think it's 30%---you even get your discount on sale items!!!!!
I may have to do some celebratory shopping after my first shift there. I really do need some new threads.

Every time I request vibes for something, things always turn out for the best! I wish I could hug everyone who was "pullin' for me
. I promise that even with all the schoolwork and a job, I'll make plenty of time for TCS
and my sweet kitties. I'm on my way to becoming a nurse!!!
