Eponine has been grooming Cosette for some time now, but until yesterday I was never able to get pictures of it. But here you go, Eppie bathing little sissy

. For those of you who remember all my posts before bringing Cosette home (about how Eponine never, EVER got along with another cat), you'll realize why this is so extra-special and heart-warming for me

I melt every time I see Eppie grooming Cosie

She even lets Cosie groom her from time to time

Susan, sometimes I swear my Drama Queens are a reincarnation of your Smudge Sisters. I mean, look:
In both cases:
*The older sister is a tortie, the younger sister is a tuxedo kitty
*It took time for the older sister to warm up to the younger sister (and forgive meowmy for bringing this new "creature" into THEIR home)
*Once big sis did warm up to little sis, they were best of friends

Sounds like our girls have a ton in common

I know when Sophie was 6 weeks old which was the same age as i got Rosie, she was much bigger in length, and i'd say Sophie looked the same size as Cosette when she was 6 months, but Rosie was that little bit smaller.

Its been 3 months and Lilo isnt bathing Garfield yet but I do catch her playing with him!!

Thanks everyone for the sweet words

I am so proud of my little girls....more proud than any words would ever say. They are the furry loves of my life and it warms my heart to think about how much they've grown to care for one another!

Glad to know that others have had kittens at 6 months who were as big as Cosy is now. She is an eating machine, that's for sure!

cossette is soo big now, how quick does it go?

When is cossie allowed to date amy? because watch out all the boys will be after her

Oh, yeah... Billy was that big when he was that age, and my sister's cats, Milo and Otis were too. CJ wasn't, but she's a very small kitty.
