Was curious how everyone's cats act...

I just opened up a can of wet food and all of a sudden 3 cats came running into the kitchen. Baylee, as always, just paces, headbutting my legs to get me to hurry up. Max looks up at me earnestly, waiting pretty patiently. Jordan meows his little heart out, "meoooowwwww meoooowwww" as in "I'm soooo hungry mom, c'mon!!".

So.. what do your cats do?

Mostly very eager, but patient, with the except of our oldest.
She gets to begging to much that instead of meowing, it sounds like someone is wringing her neck lol.

Shamrock rubs against me and meows very loudly as if he's saying, Daddy #%*&%^ feed me! Pesky meows in a special "shaky" type meow and if I try to leave without feeding him I swear he tries to take me down by walking right in front of my feet.....I find it hilarious

In the morning, they make it clear they are hungry. They wake me up. In the evening, they are patiently waiting.
Go figure.

Maybe they stuffed themselves in the morning? Lol, that is weird! Mine are the opposite... starving at dinner time but patiently waiting in the morning.

I voted before I read the first post and I didnt realize you ment CAT supper time.. not HUMAn supper time....

Rosco gets soft food because he is old and lacking in teeth, but mine just get dry food, and they snack on whatever rosco didnt eat.

I WAS going to say that if I am on the computer eating, it depends what the cats aredoing. If they were sleeping they might stay asleep, otherwise elliot takes his perch atop the computer tower and paws me, while Aerowyn jumps up on top of the cat tree and goes "meau eau??" and walks halfway on my shoulder. Of course it depends what kind of food it is too.

Although Elliot does always stand on his hind legs and tries to pat my mom's elbow when she puts roscos food on a plate on teh counter. And aerowyn usually sits by watching but meows whenever she makes a large movement. They both know they cant have any until rosco is done though. My mom says that the dry food and a bit of Rosco's is good enough for them and as I have no money, I go along with that. Tis a bit expensive anyways unless you get the 35 cent cans but still.

I voted they make it clear, but their not starving because they have their kibbles while i'm at work, so i think it's the thought that it's their favourite wet food why they weave in and out my legs, headbutt and scream the house down

My two couldn't really care less at the moment! They have kibbles down all day, and being that they're so young, I think they're more interested in toys!

They do follow me into the kitchen and get excited by the prospect of their morning cat milk though

Scaredy is the main culprit. For some reason, he isn't afraid of me in the morning, so he is on the bed, jumping, head butting, that sort of thing, until I get up and feed him. Thankfully, he does it around 7 or 8, so I have to wake up anyway. Altough it gets annoying in weekends, when I want to sleep longer.
But in the evenings Scaredy is scared of me so he doesn't ask for food at all.
My other cat has a disposition of a teddy bear, so he doesn't ask for anything and waits for Scaredy to finish eating.

Cupid gets right in front of my face and stares at me. Then I ask: Are you hungry? And he starts meowing.

Its hard to vote as "they " may not react the exact same way...
Lovey lays and waits patiently with not even a murmur but Rocky "rockets" up on to the table, meowing his head off, and he knows that the microwave beeping means that its time to start meowing REALLY LOUDLY in case I forget that the warm wet food is for him
...you know in case I decided to eat it instead...He is a silly boy.

If it is a scheduled feeding time, such as I just woke up or just got home from work, I get lots leg rubs and she wants to be held and cuddled. She doesnt make a peep. Just waits for me.

During the other times she howls her head off - cries and cries and cries! And also gets real agitated if I don't hup to it immediately!

OMG, i'd thought you'd never ask this question. One of my kitties will meow and meow and the others will either just lay there and be a good cat or try and jump up on the table..

MIne act like they have gone completely mental, when they hear that can open. Which also brings up another thought, do any of cats go berzerk over a specifiec human food. Mine lose it over cereal and olives. I haVE ACTUALLY BEEN BITTEN over an olive.
