Sorry if this has already been posted before, but I was wondering how many of you all out there spoil your cat (or cat). I personally don't know how you CAN'T spoil a cat, they're just so cool. I let Jinx sleep on my lap, pet him 24/7, and chew on me like some sort of chew toy.

When we first got him he was only six weeks old and would not even come near us, now he is ten weeks old and won't leave our sides. Funny how these things happen... but I am really glad they did.

I know what you mean - They know just how to get us wrapped around their little paws!

My two know just how to get what they want and i'm so trained that I give it!
They know that there's nothing I wouldn't do for them!!

SPOILED I say not
Spoiled rotten yes, my Day of good shopping is going to Petsmart
I cannot go in any store without getting them something, I'll spend half an hour trying to find something they have to have

I try to spoil Willow, but nothing I do is ever good enough for her. I buy lots of toys, but they always get taken over by my other cat, Buffy. If I get a catnip toy, Willow will accept it, but she won't make a fuss if Buffy wants to use it before Willow's done. I'm slowwwwwwly learning how to make Willow like me (oh, I'm sure she likes me fine, but it's not often when she'll walk up to you and act happy). So far, I'm not sure what exactly it is that I'm doing, but she's been coming up to me for attention a lot more these days. Maybe it's something in her food, giving her more energy. Hmm...

As for Buffy, I buy a lot of toys and treats, always with her in mind. Buffy hates the soft, chewy kinds of treats, so I never buy those, and Willow couldn't care either way. Toys are a little harder, Buffy would play with anything I buy her, but Willow's really finicky. She definitely likes plastic toys, especially if they're in the shape of circles (like milk cap strips, which she likes). I got her some funky-shaped plastic circles for Christmas and she went crazy over them. I can't find a single one now, though.

Oh yes indeed. It's amazing what we will put up with in the name of love! Particularly at night in bed when they decide that they think that having 90% of the bed isn't quite enough for them!!

Um...depends what you called spoiled.

Ice cubes with water?
Asking what's wrong when they whine?
Getting something new for then everytime I pass a petstore?
Letting them sleep in my bed while I sleep on the couch?
Get them treats when they get a shot?
Giving them a massage during their bath, with warm water and catnip bubbles?

Nah, they're not spoiled at all.

our cats are definitely spoiled. somehow i'm willing to let them sleep on the bed all day even though it means much less sleep for me at night. and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
