Ok Jordan's eyes are changing colors... is there a way to find out his age?

When we took him to the vet we were told he was between 6 and 8 weeks old. Maybe 10 weeks, she wasn't sure. That was 2 weeks ago so, in our minds, the kiddo is 10 weeks old.

But I noticed his eyes are turning yellow when they were very distinctly green (sniff, I wanted them to stay green). I read that that happens at 8 weeks? So does that mean Jordan is 8 weeks old and was 6 weeks old when we found him?

So complicated.

No. I got my persian at 10 weeks, and his eyes were kind of undetermined color at the time. They changed to a bright copper later on.l
So, he could have been 10 weeks, or he could have been 8 weeks, it's impossible to say based on eye color alone.

I know you dont know the date of his birth but if you guess , maybe this calendar will help you figure out his age.

No. My persian definetly changed eye color after 10 weeks.
"At around 10 to 12 weeks of age, the blue kitten eye color gradually settles towards the permanent eye color; however, this can vary tremendously with each kitten, and their full eye color pigmentation may not be achieved until the kitten is from 1 to 2 years old."

Hmm, okay, I figured I'd ask. I mean, it's not something subtle, it's like BAM he woke up and half his eyes are yellow so I imagine tomorrow they'll be all yellow. My pretty green eyed boy isn't green eyed anymore...
