I am so wanting to keep my four babies and their mom (that was a stray rescue), but that will make nine cats in my family of no kids but six rescue dogs .Do think that is to many? I am a stay at home critter mom and have lots of time and love to care for them.

How many cats do you have

13, two more on the way here. all are fixed, or will be fixed, bar the four future stars of my cattery that i have been searching for.

We also have two dogs, a basset hound, and a Husky. the basset has started her show carrier, the husky will be a sled dog and agility when she is of age.

And four horses

Four cats (plus one that visits that I feed but don't let in), four kittens I am trying to force myself to find homes for, and fishies.

I have 15 cats. I also have three dogs, one outside rabbit and one rat. Let's not forget three teenagers and I work fulltime.

I have four kitties (no other pets, or kids). If you can afford the food and vet care and you have the time to care for all of them, then I say go for it!

That's the deciding factor. If you can care for them so that they are all healthy, and your life is balanced, then you are fine. If you can't care for them or doing so would cause you to give up other things that are important to you, then you shouldn't. Otherwise, it's all good.
