If you are wishing your cat a happy birthday(?) (yours reads the forums?), it would go in the Lounge.

As to an honest mistake, nobody is telling anybody off. The thread just gets moved where it belongs. General rule of thumb: if it is about taking care of cats in any way, it doesn't go in the Lounge. The Lounge is an area more for socializing.

Also, some resizing in your Fur Pictures wouldn't cause any complaints. It's tough to enjoy a photo when you have to scroll all over the place just to see it.

I don't recall mods telling people off that post in the wrong places, or that post duplicate threads. Sometimes we may just very well be frustrated that we have to spend time moving the posts instead of enjoying all the great posts here and then the pm may come off a bit abrupt. But no mod would "tell you off-" intentionally.
