Pretty Darn proud of myself!

I am feeling pretty darn proud of myself right now. Steve is gone til friday to see his kids. And I get seperation anxiety, I know I know it sounds stupid. But it started when he was on the road ALL the time. Anyways, it was pretty bad yesterday especially with what happened with Ares not going to be able to come, he was going to be my distraction. Well I redirected myself today and am pretty darn proud.

I keep a tidy house. but not what I would say super super neat, with so many critters. Well today I started "Super cleaning" I have gone room by room, bedroom first tossing out junk i dont need and cant sell on ebay. boxing up what i will sell on ebay. through to the kitchen and dinning room. the bathroom...

and now I am on my last room, the living room. I have deep cleaned all the kitty boxes, and scrubbed their area with carpet cleaner (pet safe stuff I found YAY) I un-hooked my computer and did everything with that. I ducked taped all the chords together and everything so thats neater...and now I just haev to finnishing tidying up, and than vaccum in here than this room is done as well.

And all thats left is mopping the floors, which I will do once the dogs are in bed.

sounds like you are definitely going to be a "Mommy" to Ares real soon......I think you may be experiencing "nesting". I have been reading your other post concerning Ares, and just want to say that I hope all works out for you and Ares.

I hate it when my bf leaves, I don't like being alone in the apartment and always end up cleaning too. Then of course I get mad that he isn't home to help me clean.

I also agree with emmysamson, sounds like some nesting.

Hey, if you start feeling anxious again, I am willing to offer you my house for your next project It smells distinctly of stale cat no matter what we do. Lol. All carpet though, no mopping required :O

Joking obviously Its a good way to siphon off extra energy or get rid of that feeling of anxiousness!

Be careful you dont go to far with it or tommorrow you will find yourself resoding your lawn or something!!!

Now all you need to do is invite a reasonable number of people over so they will believe you if you tell them! I know if I went into a cleaning frenzy (which DOES happen every once in a while) No one would believe it.

Of course... DEEP cleaning is out of the question.
I dont know how you did it, it would make me crazy :O But I have to shove everything in a corner when I clean, then remove the clothes from the pile, the books, the trash. Ect. I actually take EVERYTHING in my room from my closets and my shelves and throw it on the floor. Weird but it works...

Just dont do anything crazy like deciding to reshingle the roof or something!!!

at my house we have a tray. like a plastic party tray from target kind of a thing, not too expensive, it has edges, so when that cats get food everywhere it stays in the tray and they eat it later. best part.. its lime green!

Wow..yeah i dont think i would survive him being abroad..heh.

When we met he was on the road touring with a country coverband. I knew what i was getting into, but as we got closer and i couldnt travel with him when i came home to start a "real job" after working all summer at the girl scout camp...thats when it started.

Lucky for me he wanted to play orginal rock again and came home
