This fountain was purchased because it was not plastic and saw it on a site on constipation for cats and was promoted as one that cats would use. However, it is expensive. It is very heavy,...

I had to use a dropper with this since it was kind of hard to put it in my cat's ears. I cleaned my cats ears first, then I put the R-7M cleaner in her ears. Next, I inserted 10 drops into each...

Dandruff can also be a symptom of an allergy that needs to be recognized and eliminated from the cat’s environment or diet. Rarely, dandruff can be a symptom of a more serious disease such as kidney, liver or thyroid disease. Have them checked out by a veterinarian to rule out any serious problems and then try some of these suggestions :
-feed a quality commercial food
-add oils to their diet. Fish body oils (not cod liver oil) and flax seed oils add lots of essential fatty acids which will quickly show up as sleek fur. Adding about a ½ teaspoon at each meal is usually sufficient.
-Brushing frequently also helps a lot. At first you’ll probably notice more dandruff as you brush because you’ll be pulling it off the skin to the surface. But after a few days, the dandruff will be lessened and may even disappear
Hope this helps...

The first thing that comes to mind is not enough oils in their diets... if their kibble/wet food isn't fortified with extra oils, you can purchase stuff at pets stores to put in their food... they could also be allergic to something or maybe the air in your house is just too dry for them... I would swing by the vet with them to make sure that it's not a sign of something more serious.... Oliver gets a little dandruff sometimes, but it's usually during the dryness of the winter... good luck! I know it looks awful against beautiful coats - my dog has a gorgeous black coat and always gets dandruff when it's dry out and it looks just awful
