My kitten sunshine craves the amoxicillin suspension. When I open up the fridge door, he comes running for his treat. He licks every drop of the tasty medicine from the syringe and then bites the syringe looking for more. He tries to steal his brother's share, since his brother is reluctant to taking the medicine. Is this odd?

I have never heard of anything like that! Most cats don't mind it all that much, but I've never heard of one who actually likes it.

Ha ha -- that's pretty bizarre!!
I'm giving Mellie some of that stuff right now and she certainly DOESN'T crave it!! Consider yourself lucky.

When Bailey was on some sort of antibiotic, the vet prescribed the children's version, which was apparently banana flavoured. She warned me that some cats don't like it, to try and disguise it in food, and use food (tuna or something) that she doesn't normally get, so it doesn't put her off her regular food.

No need, Bailey loved the stuff. I did put it in tuna, but she's lick up all the medicine before she ate the tuna itself.

Sam turned his nose up at the dish, even after all the food was gone, because there were faint traces of the smell still there. He did expect to get tuna, though. Which only seemed fair.
