My kitten is confusing me... He seems to love me to death when I get home.. but then later in the evening he doesn't want to be around me. Is he moody, or is this just me misunderstanding a cat's independant nature.

I have come to the conclusion that all cats should come with a Warning that reads:
Your requests will be promptly ignored in the order in which they were received ...
While cats can be very independant and sometimes even a bit standoffish, the best advice I can give you is to just let him be who he wants to be - go about your day just as you would and if he seeks you out, then give him the love, playtime or other type of attention he desires.

ok.. so I guess I am just being clingy. My wife told me that dogs answer when you call them.. cats come with the answering machine "at the beep, leave a message..I MIGHT get back to you IF I feel like it"
