Well today I had to go into where I used to work to train someone. I got home around 2:30. the Gas Company was outside repairing the vent on my meter. Good thing I came home or they would have left the gas shut off! While I was thinking of it, I called the Gas Companyr to get my heater repaired. They disconnected it last week because it was leaking. I got a REALLY rude customer service person, but they did come out today to repair it. I guess not too many people have their heaters repaired when it is in the 90's outside!
it ended up costing less than they said it would. That's always a good thing. Next I have to call to sign up for a service contract.

My husband will be home within the hour. Leftovers tonight, so no cooking in this heat. We are supposed to start painting the walls in our downstairs bathroom tonight, but I think it is too humid to do it.

My father has a doctor's appointment with the neurologist tomorrow and that has been on my mind all day. The doctor never has anything positive to say, and we get all nerved up before an appointment. I may call my parents in the morning to see if they want me to go with them.

Anyone else?

Not much going on here. Work is so slow. It is cool and rainy today.
A high of 70 feels SO GOOD when it's been over 100 for the past week! I really need to start getting ready for my trip to Ohio next week, but I'm usually a last-minute packer.
At least I do have good lists to go from so I don't forget anything.

Karen, I understand the feelings about worrying bout your dad! I am going through a similar situation! My thoughts are with you!

My day basically started a little early, by getting up 30 minutes earlier to go to the bank and pick up breakfast for our office meeting. Then I've been working and I had to go to school during my lunch hour to sell back my books...love having the little extra money from that always. Now, I am patiently waiting for 6 so I can go home and love on Watson and Mittens and take Watson for a long walk. Then, Zack and I are going to return a cable at Best Buy and then go to Chick-fil-A for dinner!!

Today has been the most unproductive day. I got sick yesterday and am really feeling it today so because of that I haven't even gotten dressed! My throat hurts so I can't eat anything that won't go down smoothly, and I'm getting pretty bored of "smooth" foods already! Oh well. I keep telling myself I'll be better tomorrow. Anyone have any get well vibes they could send me??

I think it must be. I'm not sure though. Since it's been over 24 hours I'm hoping that it's just a 48 hour bug.
Thanks for the well wishes guys!!! I really, really appreciate it!

I went into work this am at 7, to get ready for a flight

We did the Deer Lake, Sandy Lake, Keewaywin and back route.

It's an interesting job I gotta say, although I'm still just getting into the routine.

When I came home Reilly was so happy to see me!, looking forward to spending a nice realaxing night with kitty!

Let's see... Today mostly I have been getting ready to leave for vacation tomorrow. Packing, cleaning up, got an oil change for my car, yada yada yada.

Mike's car broke down about a week ago and he put a payment to hold a mustang!
It's very pretty. haha 1998, fire engine red, leather interior, 55,000 mi I'm excited for him to chauffeur me around.

And I am about to dye my hair a light auburn color called Molten Lava.
And afterwards I must finish packing.

Belated but... Wednesday was me stuck at work from 4am-1pm. I'm not happy about it but the countdown to my last day is on! Max is starting to be okay with Jordan... whenever Jordy pounces on Max, Max ignores him and Jordan just kinda walks away, confused. I'm very proud of my fraidy cat. Now Baylee on the other hand... she can't ignore Jordan and as a result, she's gone hoarse from hissing and growling.

My hand and arm, the one clicking the computer mouse, is still in pain. My hubby was right, I am spending too much time on my latop. I took half a day off from my laptop and I think I should take another half tomorrow for my hand to recover. I did not do much today.
