police helicopter over head

its hovvering nearby,been lots of police activity around here the last few days. i for one will be staying indoors not much fun living in london these past few weeks

Must admit, at lunch a few police cars with sirens wizzed by and my tummy did a little back flip...

we are in east finchley,but they where serching a place in southgate which wasnt tooo far from us,i can now hear police cars.all the kids have gone to look (nosy devils) it could be an incident on the north circular rd,(hope so) makes u worried dont it?? dont know who to trust now,and we have a large asian population around here.(but 90% of them are great)

In that case make sure you do lock your doors!. With these lot still at large you can't be too careful!.

Ok yeah, I read that on the BBC news - BBC News They have found a large amount of possible explosives.

if you live in the area and if it is another lead in this investigation.

Please don't focus too much on that copter - I still have them in my head 2 and a half weeks later.

I am at the other end of north circ - Walthamstow - but I do know your area well as my nan used to live in Finchley and my dad worked at Southgate too.

put sky news on ,the have found a large amount of explovie (sp?) material at east finchley and about 10 mins away from here they have found a car usd by one of the bombers,jeez i always thought east finchley was one of the quieter parts of london they have closed the nth circular off as well near where i live.

It's good news in one way by finding what they've found

It just shows though that no place is off limits to these lot is it

At least they have found stuff though, that kind of puts my mind at rest a little. Please stay inside and stay safe.

Actually, it's probably a coincidence for you to post this, but there are two copters up there now circling the sky and the office!

at least it shows the police are doing some thing right (for a change)
i reported a van which had been dumped at the weekend,to the police and they where not really interested,and we have been told anything different be vigilant,so i was, they said they will report it to the local station.

Some things they act fast on - like I reported this car parked outside my flat - someone had stuck a tesco trolley through the sun roof! Within a few hours, it was towed away. Yet surely you reporting that van in that area, they should have checked it asap IMO...
