Computer Assisted Remote Hunting Act

Thread Starter
It's not cat related but I was just surfing around the ASPCA site and found out about this. Head to www.aspca.org and help stop this absurd new trend, where people point and click over a webcam attached to a weapon, and hunt animals around the globe. This is not for any type of gain (food, shelter, warmth), and has 0 level of sport involved. There is NO defensive argument for this activity. Help persuade your congressmen and women, and other representatives to support this Act which BANS this activity.

This is by no stretch of the imagination, hunting. This is remote control killing - a travesty our world does not need!

I sent a letter to my congressman, Dave Weldon. It is very easy to do by following the steps on the website that ElecMoHwk posted. Please help. It took me about 2 minutes and I included a few sentences of my own.

Things like this discust me. Honestly if you purposely kill something you should have to eat it. I can understand killing to eat and killing to protect and killing for shelter or whatever but just killing for the kick you get out of it is sick.

Does that mean its already prohibited there? Sometimes I think the UK might be a step ahead. Afterall, declawing is illegal in your country, right?

I just put in my support of HR1558. I can't believe there are morons out there who are too lazy to stand up so they want to be able to kill animals without having to get off their duffs! In my letter I wrote that people who are too lazy to even stand up should not have the right to hunt.
