Going away for a while!

Hey everyone.

Tomorrow I'll be heading up north for a week and a half to look after my close friend/mentor's house and 2 kitties (one is 15 years old - I'll take pics with the new digicam! ), as she and her partner are going on vacation to see her family out west.

Though another good friend will be looking after my guys (who are in their prime - so I'm not too worried), and I will miss them, I must admit that I am REALLY looking forward to getting out of Toronto for a while.

Midland is a beautiful area near Georgian Bay, and my friend has a gorgeous backyard with lots of trees, a huge deck and a lovely home. It is nice and quiet and I'm hoping I will benefit from this time away from the city. And no internet access, which means no TCS, so I'm sure to go through a bit of TCS withdrawal!

The grey gremlins won't be too happy, but I'll be sure to bring them back some home grown organic catnip when I return!

I will miss your great posts!! Maybe you can find a library with internet access - and most every community in Canada has internet access centres. There is no ISP at all?

Awww, thanks! I quite enjoy your posts as well! Perhaps I'll duck in to the public library while I'm there... just to check up on everything.

No big plans... just chillin' on the patio with some tunes and a good book (haven't decided yet what to bring), playing Diablo II on my laptop, doing some yard work, SLEEPING , and of course taking care of my friends 2 sweet elderly kitties!

I'm leaving this afternoon... Am just about ready to get packing!
