Stackers are known to cause heart conditions. please be careful with this type of medicine, because they are similar to Methamphedamine, and could cause you a heart attack.

I tried it for a day - I had dizzy spells and my heart raced. I threw the rest of the bottle out.

I would never take this stuff. I would rather have the extra weight than take a drug that can have health risks to it. A good sensible diet and extra excersise would be what I would do. Losing weight is never easy, especially when you look at all the junk food out there. When I say junk food, I don't mean stuff like chips and candy, but the overly processed foods. Try eating more whole grain breads, cereal and pasta with good vegies and lean meats. Cooking is something that people don't always enjoy either, but all these quick and easy, pre-packaged store bought meals, are never any good either if you want to loose weight. Good luck with the diet, but stay away from those diet pills

Hubby tried it for a while (he is still looking for a miracle in a can for weight loss), and when he was on it was also going to a personal trainer for his back (mainly to build strength in his back, but she also worked his cardio). He found that he couldn't do both because his heart rate would go so fast, especially when even moderately exercising, that he couldn't continue. So the pills went in the trash (unfortunately it wasn't too long before the exercise program did too
).

I agree with everyone else. They are very dangerous. I can't believe they're legal and you can just buy them in a convenience store. This gives people a false sense of safety, as if it were an asprin.

I've never heard of it. It sounds dangerous. What is Stacker2?

I took it for a couple months a few years ago, till my husbands best friend found out, then he took them from me and flushed them. He said someone in his family had taken them and had heart trouble afterwards
I dont know if that is true, but i did stop.

Have you gone to your doctor? In high school, (of all times, when I DIDNT need it) the doc prescribed me a weight loss/management drug called Phentermine. I took it for two years straight. And It comes off fast! I was a mat-maid(wrestling manager) in HS and we were always going to tournaments and the guys would eat at a fast food place after weigh-in. I think I ate more Big Mac's in that year than I care to say(and ate fast food almost every day), but I NEVER gained an ounce, in fact I kept losing.

of course the only thing is, even after I quit taking it, I was in such a bad habit of eating out, that I kept doing it, and gained some back.

*i wanted to add - after taking Phentermine for so long, it has caused me to have a very irregular heartbeat, which i still have to this day.

If you take it and develop a healthy eating style and a regular workout, I can only imagine how much more it would be possible to lose. Plus when you quit taking it, you would be in the habit of eating healthy and working out, which is the recommended way of losing weight.

Also, when you do it the 'hard' way, you are waaaaay more likely to keep it off, then if you have help, from things such as diet pills.
Plus you keep other things healthy, like cholesterol and blood pressure!

Please!!
Don't try this stuff! My friend took it and, yes, she lost weight. Her personality also changed. She was easily irritated, forgetful to the point of distraction and sometimes downright rude. All this from a normally happy, friendly person. She also had problems with her heart rate and was quite often nauseated. Stay away from Stacker products!

I had a friend who lost a lot of weight on the original Stacker 2's (not the ephedra free that they sell now). She was constantly jittery, said her heart beat erratically and it felt like her skin was crawling. She stopped taking them and gained all the weight back and THEN some. I don't know anything about the ephedra free ones that they make now, though.

i used to be overweight and would look for any easy way out (except medication) and none of the fad diets etc ever worked.

about a year ago i brought a tai bo video and did that for an hour every day, it is not easy at all, sometimes i felt like giving up but i stuck with it and ate sensibly and the results are amazing! i feel so much better and have lost weight and toned up.

it's a hard workout that takes dedication but if you can stick to it you should see results in two to three weeks

goodluck, being overweight can really get you down.

It is probably just a matter of time before the FDA finds it harmful and orders it removed from the shelves. By then, of course, the drug companies will find something else to sell it its place.

i agree with you there about sticking it out. i know if i run at least 15 minutes a day at a quick pace in a week i would lose 5 lbs. but the problem is keeping myself motivated and having someone there to do it with. i tried to have courtney do it with me but after 5 minutes she was complaining she was bored. so its kind of hard. i dont know i just need to get active and play basketball or something. hopefully the apratment will put up a basketball hoop.
