That is from You Can't Get A Man With A Gun from Annie Get Your Gun, the other one is from Officer Krupke from Westside Story.

Here's a new one:

"The way is clear,
The light is good,
I have no fear nor no one should,
The woods are just trees,
The trees are just wood..."

Happy Happy Happy Happy Talk
Talk about things you like to do
You've got to have a dream
If you don't have a dream
How you gonna have a dream come true?

And just because I'm feeling lazy in the rain here, I'll re-post:

The Sun'll come out tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow

Here is an Oldie but a Goodie

A woman is a female who is human,
Designed for pleasing man, the human male.
A human male is pleased by many women,
And all the rest you hear is fairy tale.

I THOUGHT so! My late Mom did a ballet (for kids) to Into the Woods, and though I never paid attention to it, those words sounded like it! WOW what memories!

How about:
Why sure I'm a billiard player,
Certainly mighty proud I say
I'm always mighty proud to say it.
I consider that the hours I spend
With a cue in my hand are golden.
Help you cultivate horse sense
And a cool head and a keen eye.

Ya Got Trouble, from The Music Man

Eliza Bed! Bed! I couldn't go to bed!
My head's too light to try to set it down! Sleep! Sleep!
I couldn't sleep tonight.
Not for all the jewels in the crown!

How do you do
I see you've met my faithful handyman
He's just a little brought down because
When you knocked
He thought you were the candyman
Don't get strung out by the way I look
Don't judge a book by its cover....

Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The wheels are yeller, the upholstery's brown,
The dashboard's genuine leather,
With isinglass curtains y' can roll right down,
In case there's a change in the weather.
Two bright sidelight's winkin' and blinkin',
Ain't no finer rig I'm a-thinkin'

this is from one of my favorite musicals!!

When I was younger, just a bad little kid
My mama noticed funny things I did
Like shooting puppies with a B.B. gun
I'd poison guppies and when I was done
I'd find a pussycat and bash in its head
That's when my mama said...

Son be a dentist!!! People will pay you to be inhumane!! - Little Shop of Horrors!

(And Surrey w/the Fringe on the Top will always remind me of my Dad - he sang a verse a capella as an interlude in another homegrown musical we did together once. I wuv my daddy!!
)

March went out like a lion
Awakin' up the water in the bay;
Then April cried and stepped aside,
And along came pretty little May!
May was full of promises
But she didn't keep 'em quickly enough for some
And the crowd of doubtin' tonuses
Was predictin' that the summer'd never come
