Mine is pretty boring really... I sometimes take the magnets off because Guin likes to sit on top of the fridge freezer and play with them. I am worried they might scratch the surface..

I bought the pint of Guinness magnet in Dublin and the Egypt magnet with the black cat in Egypt.... both of those for obvious reasons!

My friend at work bought me the "there's no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast" I think it's great!

But my fave is, "life without friends is like a garden without flowers". My neighbour Lyn bought me that

I don't have my boyfriend's digital camera here or else I'd totally show a pic. I think this is a cute idea for a thread!
I'll definitely try to nab it from him when I'm at his place later and post one then.

Mines simple like yours Gilly!. Theres a fridge magnet from Mexico off Rigel, one from a girl at work who went to Dubai, 3 from Greece, a harrods teddy bear magnet, and a picture of a cat on a magnet.

My sisters is covered in stuff from her girlfriend in America... Personally, I think it's too much.

But, the best thing she has on there is fridge dictionary of rude words
You have these words and you just make up sentences with them all... it is quite funny!

I am not naturally tidy (working on it, though), but one thing I can't stand is stuff on the front of the fridge. (My fridge; I don't care about anyone else's.
) So on the side, where it's not very visible, I have a churchkey (don't know why they call it that) with a magnet on it that also holds up my weekly menu. I also tend to have fast food coupons and cat food coupons on there, but as I just created files for those, they will be coming down. I also have a few other magnets, but none that I'm really attached to.

I have only one thing on my refrigerator - an envelope with the title Medic Alert. In the envelope is all the emergency information someone would need should I, for any reason, need to be transported to the hospital in an ambulance. Medical history, allergies, prescription and OTC medications I use, emergency contact numbers.

I had similar information all typed up for my husband when he was living. And every time the ambulance was called for his strokes, TIA, heart attack, and other emergencies, one of the parameds would comment that they wished everyone did something like that.

I recommend that everyone else have this information handy for all members of the family as well. It could save valuable time and avoid the possibility of forgetting important things the medics should know. If you have parents or grandparents of the age when medical emergencies are likely in the not too distant future, I'd encourage them to do something similar.

That is a great idea which I am going to copy! My hubby has type one (juvenile) diabetes, and has given me quite a few scares over the years...he is brittle and doesn't feel lows coming on, and has had a few extreme lows in the middle of the night.

I have quite a few magnets on my fridge, probably too many! Will take a pic later and post it.

Only the freezer door (the top of the fridge) is covered with things. I have some warped sense in my head that tells me it still looks tidy as long as nothing crosses that line between the two doors!

K, Gilly, I don't know if I have the same thing...but a friend of mine bought me the "sensual" magnet package...
Its the one with all the naughty type words but not reallllly naughty..you could make nasty sentences though..but as I have a daughter...she uses them to make up things like "you are a cheeky butt" and things like that.

But I do have to say that you have a really smart fridge..all sleek and industrial steel like.. I love it!!!

Lol! What a groovy thread!

Our fridge has the weekly garbage/recycling roster on it, Ruby's daily training schedule, some photos of me when I was skinny as `inspiration' (lol), my Tupperware Fridgesmart guide, a conversion magnet (ie - oz to grams etc) a toy mouse magnet that sits on the corner of the freezer door, and some bills that have been there for probably about four months and are paid but I haven't filed yet!

My fridge is quite naked. It just has two magnets and a camouflaged magnetic key holder stuck on the brand name.
