I got my drivers license today!

Hello everybody!

I got my learners license today and drove my Mum home too!


So in six months I can get my restricted, but that's Christmas Day! Lol!

Just wanted to share. I am so proud of myself. It was a theory test and I needed 32/35 questions right and I got 34!

Driving is sooo much fun - at least out in the rural areas where traffic still flows freely.
And when your license gets upgraded, it will be like an extra pair of hands for your mom - think of all the times you can run to town for dogfood, spaghetti sauce, pick up prescriptions, etc....when my oldest got her license it was such a GODSEND for me...she'd go to town for me while I took a nap or helped my younger daughter with homework...I am so excited for you!

Congrats Sam!

That's so exciting - does that mean that you are allowed to drive, but need a liscensed driver with you ?? just wondering if it's the same as over here...

Thank you everybody. Just wanted to add I don't rely on my mother for transport anywhere I'm a big fan of public transport but I'm really looking forward to getting a car.

You can get your learners license on the day you turn 15 and you can apply for your restricted six months after that and then for your full 18 months later.

True, they are, but I love manual!

....and lend my car?! Nobody dives Davey Baby, but me!


I am actually in the process of teaching someone to drive too!
