Great White (and gray and brown and. . .) Hunters!!!

Apparently I have quite the hunting squad among my crew!! I've noticed Bella bringing in more and more insects these days - three grasshoppers in as many hours tonight!! And I saw Shadow with a finch of some sort yesterday morning. (I had also cleaned a few feathers out of the corners of the garage when I first moved back )
This evening, though, someone snuck in and left a rodent for me!! I was tidying up the family room and came across a shrew or vole or something lying on the carpet about two feet from the TurboScratcher - not a kitty in sight to claim her/his prize!! I wonder why nobody wanted to own up?????

Vole soup, anyone? ...Why that offering was for thee, O Supreme Cat Erica! Hurray for the good hunters in our life! Just don't get p.g. - my oldest daughter is, and my female cats INSIST that my daughter just doesn't eat enough reptile - whenever she visits, they come mrreowling in with fresh lizard or snake for her (and she feels so bad cuz she loves reptiles, thinks they're cute, or something. I don't get the attraction, but her Chinese horoscope sign is the snake). Anyway, my daughter coos and ahhs over the "gift", the cats just purr & headbutt with pleasure & pride and I discreetly dispose of the offering.
