Do things really happen in three's?

Since late yesterday after my long sleep, I have had a tummy bug... I have been up 3 times during the night and now I feel awful this morning with a gurgling belly, so I am staying at home today.

Anyway, I just fed Guinness and not even 2 mins later, he had been sick all over his food bowl and in his water

I just turned the hallway light on, and have now blown all my fuses in the flat ::censor::censor::censor::

Do things happen in 3's?

Often they do, all right! But sometimes in 4's, 5's..... By the way, I do hope that you are feeling better. Sounds like maybe you have a virus or something, and Guiness, too. you don't suppose there's some sort of toxin that you two have gotten into? Maybe pest control sprayed, or something like that? Once, a cat that I'd rescued & I were sick, and I mentioned it to the dr., thinking that the cat & I shared a virus (but I also had severe headache & asthma) and that got him to thinking & he ran tests, and sure enough, I was allergic to the defoliants that helicopters were spraying on the cotton fields across the highway! I wound up moving away, which was okay, cuz I was in Bakersfield (it does get the most beautiful sunsets from all the air pollution) and brought my family back home to the mountains.

Well, at least the stomach bug explains your long snooze!! I have to admit, when I first saw your post, I thought to myself, "All the stress of the bombings has finally caught up with her, poor dear, and she's finally getting some rest!!"

Yes, I believe bad things happen in threes, so I think you're about done with this bout!!!! Hope tomorrow (today?) is better for you!

Nothing better than having an excuse to spend the day snuggling up in bed with your kitty.
Look at the bright side - at least you have had all three now - nothing but smooth sailing from now!

I think yesterday's Sunday Roast caused my tummy to go funny! And I think in Guinness case it was because he was eating far too fast!

As for the light fuses blowing, I can't see the relation in that... oh and I just opened the blinds to find that it's pooring with rain so in a way, I am glad I stayed home!

hehe rain sucks!

Awww, you poor thing.......hope that's all that happens for a while!!!

Awwww.... I had a tummy bug over the weekend... so sorry, I know how that feels. Try to eat tho I know the idea isn't appealing... and it will pass, mine took about 48 hours but I feel better now.

I feel a bit better this afternoon I just woke up after a little sleep and am now contemplating having a shower!

Guin is fast asleep though....

And I fixed the fuses, I just have to change the bulb which blew. This one though is quite difficult because the rose thing that it's meant to hook onto is stiff and I always have problems with it.. oh well

I am pleased to see that you and Guiness are feeling a bit better. Hugs from the Jones tribe.

We're looking forward to rain today. After temperatures over 104F(40C), rain will cool things off.

And Gilly, I'm hoping they only come in threes. That way you are done with them. Continue to get better and glad you had a day off.
