OMG, that is too cool!

I just bought a "pair" of wax lips I found in an old-time store last week. I got them for my nephew, who just turned 3....well, not so much for him to chomp on but my brother (his dad) put them in his mouth and little Erik James laughed his butt off!

hehehe

Thanks for the nostalgia!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
What fun!
Pixy Stix, yummy! Pure sugar, they were and kept me bouncing off the walls for hours!
I used to love BB Bats! Imagine having candy cigarrettes these days! I must say hot dog bubble gum is one I'd never hear of!

I was looking for those fruit juice filled wax bottles? They used to come in a six-pack and after you sucked all the juice you chewed the bottlecaps and they were actually bubble gum- anyone remember those?

YES! You can still find them at some candy stores--sometimes the bulk-bin candy stores in malls will have them wrapped in shrink wrap.

Truly foul tasting but amusing!

That was back when they had nickel and dime stores and candy REALLY DID cost only a nickle or dime - soda pop too! <sigh> The GOOD Ole' Days! LOL!

The bottle caps where I lived were just wax, see, I knew I had a disadvantaged childhood.

But I supose it was just as well, I never could blow a bubble, still can't...boy and you thought it was bad in Dicken's time.
