My 4 month old medium/long haired orange and white tabby still has his bunny soft wild fur. When do kittens get their adult fur, and when do they start looking less gangly? When do they start filling out?

It depends on what crosses your cat is genetically connected to. I have three cats full grown that still have rabbit soft fur. They feel like angora bunnies-

I don't know what Sunshine is genetically linked to. It could be bunny LOL. Doolittle, his littermate is short hair orange and white tabby, but also with somewhat soft fur, but not as soft as sunshines.

When do they start filling out and grow into their ears ?

At 4 months old, your kitty is in what I affectionately refer to as the "fuzzy-ugly" stage. Give this little one about a month to two months and I'll bet this little one is as pretty as a little picture!

4-month-old kittens are so cute because their body parts are growing one at a time. Their ears grow and they look like fruit bats, then their legs grow and they look like spiders...but it all evens out in a couple of months. In the meantime, take lots of pictures so you can remember just how ridiculously cute he was at this age.

Does a kittens behavior change as they become older and is it normal for them to seem different as they age? It has been some time since ive had a little one so iam just wondering.

LOL semiferal. Fruit bats... I love it!! Exactly what we were thinking. Doolittle was looking a little bit like a chihuahua with huge ears. Sunshine looks like a bad hair day kitty since his fur is soft like angora and medium to longish medium in length. I hope it will grow a bit longer as he ages so it will lay flatter. Both boys are almost 4 months.
