It has been a long time since I've stopped by TCS & I'm by far overdue for my kitty fix. I just thought I'd stop by to say hi & see how everyone is doing. There isn't much of a change here...the girls & I are doing great.

Hey Shell! Nice to see you back How is the job at WalMart working out for you? Have they moved you again? Inquiring minds want to know...

Wow....where do I start! I actually don't work for Wal-Mart anymore. I started having problems with my boss about a year ago & she made it a living hell for me there. I finally decided that after 12 years, I had to end my career there. Luckily, I found a great job with a local HomeHealth care provider. Last week was my first week there & I really like it so far. I'm learning so much about the healthcare business & especially about Respiratory needs (we provide all the machines & oxygen for most of the nursing homes in my city). The hours are wonderful (8:30 to 5 M-F)...especially compared to what I was doing at the other place. When I left WM, I was overnight for 4 months. That was the hardest thing I've ever done....it just messes up your body & the poor girls were so confused. They just didn't understand why I wasn't in bed with them at night & why I couldn't play at 3 in the afternoon! *lol*

Besides work, I'm still single. I've dated here & there, but no one long term. I blame work for most of that....I worked so much, it's very hard to have a social life when I'm working 55+ hours a week. Now, I'm excited that I'll be able to enjoy my weekends & actually be social again!

Well....that's about it in a nut shell. Nothing too excited, but definitely enough to keep me hoppin'. Thanks for the warm welcome! I've missed you all so much!

Holy cow, Shell. I was just saying to MA yesterday how you dropped off the face of the site overnight. Glad to see that everything is ok in your part of the world, but I guess my bet that you had run off and gotten married or something is down the drain.....

And my guess that you had met the man of your dreams and were living the fairy tale life is off the mark too- but welcome back!

Sorry to say, no fairytale life to report of but everything is going well. It's glad to be back!

Hey girl! Wow, it has been a long time! It's really good to see you here again. Sorry to hear that Wal Mart didn't work out, but sometimes a change of career paths in mid-stream is the best life choice.
