We have discovered the reason why Annie has her vestibular disease, Mirah has her bouncing and neurological issues, and why
Limeny
died. Apparently, when CJ was pregnant, she was exposed to Panleukopenia virus. She was vaccinated against it, and had enough immunity for herself, but not for her kittens. Panleukopenia Virus (feline distemper) has been known to cause neurological defects in kittens in-utero. I think that's why Limeny died, and why my babies have their problems. It doesn't matter to me that my babies have problems, I still
love
them no matter what, but I wish I would've known that it could've been prevented. If I had stayed current on CJ's vaccs and boosters when she was little, it woudn't have happened. Just a reminder to all... keep your babies current on boosters and vaccs, especially if you plan on breeding them, or if something prevents you from fixing them, and they CAN get pregnant.

My vet, whom is a very good vet, came up to the conclusion of it. Because both kittens have neurological problems, and one died at a young age, the most likely scenario is this... that's what he said.
