Oh Vespa, what wonderful photos!! They are all so adorable!
The only Russian Blue I have ever had in my life was my kitty nephew, Nicholas aka Nicky who lived with my sister for most of his 18 yrs. He was a great kitty. When my sister divorced her 1st husband, they had no children and they had a huge custody fight (this was in the late 70's when some looked upon them rather strangely) over their five cats, of which Nicky was the baby. Nicky did go with my sister but his daddy did get visiting rights.
Nicky was named for Czar Nicholas II - my sis loves Russian history and oronically later married someone who had Russian Jewish ancestry tho I got to go to the former Soviet Union before her! (You kow sib rivalry, was one of those neener neener moments, lol). She is going to China next week tho so I am a bit envious. On the other hand, like me, many of her visits are work related. My 1st trip to USSR was to the Ukraine with a Drs without Borders org. Working with victims of Chernoble. Needless to say, they had high rates of leukemia and cancer (esp hemotological neoplasms) amg their children and children born after the event of mothers who had lived near the plant. I was opposed to nuclear ower before my visit there and that trip convinced me to try to do even more. It was horrendous. Not to say the cancer rate here is anything to cheer about but it was so in your face obvious that their cancers were related to that disaster and the Soviet and even other govts were trying to say not. Arrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!
Sorry to get off track. Thx again for sharing your Blue Crew!
