collar trouble

my cats hate collars
casmo found out how to get them of and if that doesnt work she'l manage to get tangled up in them!
after eeyore almost choked himself trying to get rid of one i gave up trying.
since my cats are party outdoor and spend the nights outside i was wondering if someone had some ideas on how i could make sure people wont mistake her for a stray
or a better kind of collar i tried ones that u click on and a leather one

My cat won't tolerate a collar either so we have had him microchipped
