Malcolm will be 5 in Novemeber. We adopted him when he was three. He is a gentle giant, a big guy but a total sweetheart. I had a tough time choosing a kitty when I was at the SPCA. I wanted an all black adult kitty since there are always so many of them. This guy, then called Mr. Big, wouldn't let me go. His huge paws were coming out of the cage trying to grab me. He was so lovey dovey when I was petting him...I was honoured that he chose me!

We wanted another kitty, this time we rescued a kitten since the spca said Malcolm wasn't too found of other cats we thought a little one might go over better. Well it was love at first sight for Malcolm, after a slow introduction of course! So I guess he just wasn't happy being at the SPCA.

Ophelia turned one in June. She is a little thing, but she is full of spunk. Ophie has a very big voice for a little thing and she isn't afraid to use it!!

Loving brother and sister....We have twins!! They are hilarious together because even now being grown Ophie is still really small and Malcolm is a big guy!

Oh my gosh! I thought I had the only petite little black and white Ophelia kitty! Is she a real snuggler too? My Ophelia definitely is. It's funny because it looks like the proportions of your Malcolm and Ophelia are about the same as my Trent and Ophelia.

They are both just gorgeous, too. Gotta love the snuggle pictures!

Ophelia can be a snuggler, but defintely only when she wants to be cuddled. She is always ready for snuggles with her big brother but with humans you never know
She also isn't huge on being held, although she lets me hold her

Do you have nicknames for your Ophelia? My hubby named her as soon as he saw her. I thought Ophelia was a bit too serious for a kitten but I was wrong! We call her Ophie or Oph a lot. And Ophadoph and Ophie roo

LOL The snuggling part sounds a lot like my Ophelia! She actually just wants to be snuggled any time she's sleeping, and the most likely candidate is Trent. She likes to sleep with me at night because I don't move around much. Daddy is the only one who can pick her up and hold her.

My Ophelia's nicknames are actually not related to her name at all. We call her Baby Doll, Baby Girl, Precious and Little One because she's such a petite little thing (all of 7 pounds full grown).
