One of my many litterboxes is in a bathroom, the kittens box is on the floor but since they can now jump into the tub i've noticed they are using the one in the tub.

So I would like to move the one on the floor and put it into the tub with the other, however yesterday when I was cleaning it Baker came and peed in the place when the litter normally is. I tried putting their food dishes there because I heard they will not pee where they eat, but one of them peed in the water dish after the food was finished.

Is there an way to easily relocate the litterbox?

Actually, your kitten is sending you a message loud and clear. She likes the cat litter box in that location, and she's letting you know the only way she knows how - by continuing to use that spot as her litter box!

Is it possible they are using one box for liquid elimination, and the other for solid waste? Many cats like having two boxes. Check the contents. If the bathtub box has solid, then she's letting you know the floor box is for liquid.

You can try to make the change, but since cats are in charge, I doubt you'll have much success. I would be very happy knowing that if I put a cat litter box down in that location, she'll use it faithfully.

Take care,
