I'm glad I found this site!
I suspect my cat is pregnant. I am taking her next Saturday to the vet to be sure, but are any of these symptoms/signs mean Kittens On the way?
Her last heat ended 4 weeks ago yesterday.
3 or 4 days after her heat ended, she changed into a very affectionate, loving cat. She used to just keep to herself.
Her nipples are at full stance.
The back of her stomach (toward her hind legs) I can feel kind of like a lump, or a bulge. Not sure if it's just how she is or pregnancy.
I witnessed her mating many many times (seems like it bothers them, huh?)
What do you think? I'm 75% sure she is but wanted to get some other opinions out there. This is also her 2nd litter. I got the cats from a friend of a friend and they are indoor cats. The father is young, and I had him neutered today. He is around 7 months or so. At first, they were supposedly both females until she went into heat last (you really could not tell he was male till right around that time-he's prety furry).
What signs did you see first, what was it that convinced you pretty early that she was pregnant?
