Thank you so much to everyone for your good vibes. It means a lot to me.

And... I BOUGHT A CAMERA TODAY!!!

I joined up with a friend after she finished work and we went camera shopping. I found a nice Kodak digicam and the price was great (plus an additional rebate!) for the quality of the camera. Can't wait... you'll all be seeing pics of the blue beasties this weekend!

Keep an eye out for the Mik and Lex thread this weekend!

Congrats on your new camera miss vespa
I've been thoroughly enjoying mine the last few weeks, I'm sure yours will be just as grand.
I sure hope that your health problems clear up as soon as possible. Sending you many
and vibes

Thanks Jessica.
I'm sure I'll feel more relaxed next week... I'll be house and cat sitting for a friend up in Midland, your neck of the woods!

Tomorrow night, Sam! I actually took a few shots already and they look great, but have to figure out how to upload them to my laptop. I'm going to a jazz festival tomorrow, but when I get home I'll get it all figured out. Look for the thread this time tomorrow night.

I don't want to go out - would rather stay in and take photos of the kitties all day! There are too many good shots I'll be passing up if I go out!
Oh well, but I made a committment to a friend, so I guess I gotta go...

Jenn, get yourself a card reader - it's so much easier than using the cable, and is fairly inexpensive ($10 - $15). Most newer computers and printers have built-in card readers (my stuff is 2002 vintage, so it doesn't).

I will be on the lookout for the Blue Crew thread.
Sorry you had to sell your scooter...that sucks.
I hope your health improves soon so you can have one again.
Good health vibes to you!!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and vibes.
It's greatly appreciated.

Well, the Russian Blue Crew thread is now posted on Fur Pics Only! Enjoy!

Oh, and if anyone can recommend how to reduce photo size, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Tricia, thanks for the link!
I'm also hoping the software that came with my camera will provide some additional help with resizing. I've just been so excited that I needed to take photos ASAP and haven't bothered to open the rest of the package!

Gail, that's great! I'm sure it's a quality camera.
I like Sony products. Hope to see a kitty thread from you very soon, too! And eventually, a Vespa one as well.
