2-3 wk abandoned kittens, Indpls, HELP!!

Hello All, I am caring for a litter of abandoned kittens, 5 of them, my sister is a out of town truckdriver and her neighbor has been caring for the abandoned kittens, and decided they no longer wanted too and contacted the local humane shelter and was told they would be put to sleep since they cannot eat on their own. My sister thought of me, Since being told they would be put to sleep, I wanted to help, I have had them since the 19th, and my HUGE problem is my 2 yr old is going in for surgery and will be hospitalised and I will not be home to care for them and also not able to find anyone else who is willing to help. My plan is too keep looking at local forums and asking but I may have to take them to a shelter this coming Tues, the 26th. My email address is adrian_cindy@hotmail.com. Please email me directly because I dont know how often I can check the forum with caring for a sick child. My 13 yr old checks the email alot. Thanks all, hope to hear from someone.

Please dont take them to a shelter that will put them to sleep. Try looking at different shelters. I am sure that in Indinapolis there is more than one shelter. I would take the kittens but I live in Tampa Florida, which is very very far away.
I will pray for your two year old and the kittens.

Adrian...I hope that you can find a caretaker for these kittens and not place them at such a young age. Have you thought about asking at the local vets whether they know of anyone who specializes in neonatal kittens??
