hi, I'm new. It took me an hour to get to this point. I have made a habit of saving and feeding cats for years. Just as of October last year we adopted our 8th miracle, an actual human baby. She and our cats get along fine. I just feel bad that I don't spend as much time with them. I tell them that I adopted them out of love also, but they cost less. Our daughter cost about $40k. They are all worth it. I just want them to get along. Friends of mine that don't like cats told me all the crazy stories. My little Scarlett is beating them up, not the other way around. They are not 'stealing' her breath, etc. Any advice on how our first 'babies' can cope would be helpful.

thanx. nan

Welcome to the site! I split this from the picture thread you posted on so you can get answers to your questions.
Please check your Private Messages (once you are signed in, at the upper right corner of every forum screen is a link to Private Messages), as I'm sure our wonderful Mentors have sent you helpful hints to navigate around here and post messages.

I'll move this to Behavior where people can help with your two- and four-legged babies getting along.

Hey Nan.....is Scarlett a very young child? What do you mean by she is beating up the cats? A little clarity would help us to help provide you with ideas.
