Wow! Small world. I did one of my postgraduate courses at DMU and I'm doing my Masters there now!

Sky reported they have reopened the Victoria Line either side of Warren Street Station.

Thanks

You know, since 1 pm I have had about 5 mobile calls and at least 4 calls to the office! Shows how many ppl care, and no wonder the phone lines are jammed again!

Gilly!!

HANG IN THERE!! I know how scary it is and wanting to leave ur workplace.

I was in Washington, DC on 9/11 (near the Pentagon) and let me tell u when we heard there was another plane on its way to DC, we all scrambled to leave even though we were instructed to stay... I thought to myself that I rather be home scared with my furbabies than be scared at work with co workers! Normally it took 20 min to get home but on that day it took me over FOUR HOURS to get home.

Think positive and take reasonable cautious care as u make ur way home...

It just makes me ANGRY
that these terrorists would hurt innocent people just to make THEIR POINT (not sure what their point is anyway and don't want to know)
...

Pls keep us posted and take care of that foot!!! I'm sure all the stress isn't helping ur foot..

Thanks Pamela

And thank you everyone, once again for supporting me and Londoners and British ppl today.... It really means an awful lot!

I actually think I am in shock a little because I keep thinking I am dreaming and that this is not real...

I know. I kept thinking the same thing on 9/11 and thinking it was like a movie. That's how surreal it is... Hang in there..

It's nice that with your 9/11 experience etc, that we can relate you know? Even though it's horrible circumstances

I just had an email from this girl on another messageboard I use. She is from Isreal and she wanted to say that she was thinking of me - how sweet is that?

Things like this make you re-think.

I have already started thinking that I want to work somewhere else and no directly in London.... I was thinking this before 7th July as well but now it makes me think about moving on more and more.

News just in, a man has been arrested in Whitehall, right opposite No.10 Downing Street...
They are not saying why/what etc?

The thing is Gilly it could happen anywhere?!. Just look where the bombers came from, they could have targeted Leeds as well if they wanted.

Oh but i tell you what!, one of my neighbours is renting his house out, and theres a lot of people from the South moved North over the last couple of years!

I saw this on the news this morning, and I am glad to see that you are safe, Gilly. How very frightening, not to be recovered from the first attack, and now to have this.

Ongoing prayers for your safety, Gilly, and the rest of the TCSers in Great Britain. And hugs to all, because this is scary for everyone!
