Radio question for 07/20/05

Question:

If someone gave you $500,000, would you allow yourself to be locked in a room, with just food, water, a bed and a toilet, for 3 months.....no outside contact with anyone? No, tv, books, anything. I don't think I could do it.

I'd give it a shot!

No way on earth. I like my time alone and all that, but I would DIE within 48 hours if I couldn't see my daughter, pet my kitties, talk to my momma and interact with my co-workers!

All that in itself is worth $500,000 to me.

I'd give it a go but I don't think I'd last very long, I'm not sure what I would do with myself other than drive myself crazy...Could I have paper and pens, that way I could write stories or something?

I thought maybe, till you said no books! Does that mean no paper, no pencils? No creative diversions at all? If so, no, I couldn't. I'd drive myself crazy with ideas & no way to express them.

Nope. Not interested. Sure $500,000 would be nice, but it's not anywhere near enough for that deal.

Nah.... I wouldn't do it. Money isn't everything. I think you would seriously go mad, wouldn't you?
