Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for ages

I'm really really sad as my nan has just passed away
She was 90 but it's still so sad.
Do you think that there's a rainbow bridge for humans? Will my grandad have been waiting there for her?
Rest in peace Nanny Jo, you were the best nanny a girl could wish for, I love you so much

Under the cats, mostly.
Yes. Of course there is sweetheart. There are so many stories of passed loved ones waiting on the other side of the rainbow bridge, coming to take their hand when it's their time... it's hard to ignore it. I like to believe that there is somewhere we all go after earthly existence has ended. The body is just a shell that the soul casts off.

"Life is brief, but when it's gone, love goes on and on"

All my thoughts are with you beb

You grandad would def. have been waiting for her. 90 is an amazing age, what a wonderful life your grandma must have had!

Thinking of you and your family

Oh good grief sweetie!
Yes i'm a firm believer that there certainly is a bridge for your nan to cross, and i bet she'll be walking hand in hand with your grandad right now

She's a lucky lady to live to 90
i hope i do!.

Your grandmother and grandfather are no doubt waltzing away at the bridge together this very moment
. I'm so sorry for your loss, but rest assured that she has had a wonderful reunion with the love of her life

Condolences on your loss, but congratulations on your nan's 90 years! Yes, I believe that the Rainbow Bridge is for humans, too, and all your nan's loved ones and pets who've gone on before her are there with her now. As a matter of fact, I believe (as did some of my ancestors did) that the unborn are up there with those who have lived here before; I think that it's a neat idea, my descendants are with my ancestors, and that my former cats are with my future cats that have yet to be born. So, take your time to feel your loss, and know that Nanny Jo makes Heaven one star brighter! Hugs, Susan

Oh, I am very sorry for your loss. I definitely believe in heaven. It is a beautiful, perfect, peaceful place. Yes, we are reunited with those that have gone before us.
I do not think it is a vague possiblity. I think it is the reality-our current body is left behind but our soul gets a new, healthy body. So she is whole and vibrant, and in the loving arms of her husband.
Condolences on your loss!

Thank you so much for your kind words everyone

I know that she will be happy now, with no ailments, and reunited with grandad.

I think Villy (my darling cat) knows when I'm sad as she's been looking after me too, as soon as I found out, she was there, cuddling up to me and purring.

Jessy I'm so sorry for you loss.
I know exactly what you are going through...I lost my Nan this past December
she was 90 years old as well. I had a hard time with it for a while and I still get down every so often
but I know she's crossed that bridge and happy to be back with my Pop. Your Nan knows how much you love her and will forever be watching over you (Both your Nan and Grandad).
Feel free to PM me anytime if you need or want to talk.

Of course there is sweetie, I am so very sorry for your loss.

I understand what its like to loose someone, I know your situation isn't the same as mine but the grief and feelings can still be the same.

I have lost four babies, and I know they went up to heaven. My four girls will be up there together along with mu fiances mom and my fiances kitten.

If you ever need to talk, feel free to Pm me as I can understand how you must be feeling.

I promise you, that even though your in a dark place right now it will get brighter and the pain will begin to fade. You'll never forget them and they'll always be part of you...OK?

If I can help any more give me a shout,

Take care of yourself
