Hi everyone! I found this site about a week ago, not long after losing my 5 year old feline love, Sunni. At the time, the pain was too new for me to introduce myself. However, each day makes me stronger and I have to say, I absolutely love this site!
We have a new kitty in the house, a 2 month old long haired calico sweetheart named Sophie Grace. She's something! I forgot what it's like to have a new "baby" in the house!! Oh my!
Outside we have Percy, my tabby cat, and Angel, my long haired black beauty. Percy came to me out of a corn field as a wee little stray (luckily for him he had a BIG mouth), and we thought Angel was feral for almost a year before I got her to come to me! They are both the most affectionate "barn cats" you'd ever ask to meet!
Besides the kitty clan, we have Brynna, our almost 3 year old Aussie-Lab mix (gasp..she's canine!). She's a story in herself, from getting her from Keokuk, Iowa's Humane Society to almost losing her to masticular myositis (fancy way of saying she couldn't open her jaw). Brynna is still adjusting to losing Sunni and accepting the new little addition. Let's just say she is VERY patient!
Now that we have all the animals out of the way, there is Joe, my husband, our son Braeden (3), Ryon (13) and Cody (10), my sons from my previous marriage.
Very nice to meet you all! Sophie and I hope to become regular visitors!
