Re to same coloured cats, here at our house we have two Brown Tortoishell Classic Tabby Exotic Females. Sophie who will be four in a few months and Bridget her daughter who is eight months old. Mum has such trouble telling them apart. Bridget is nearly twice the size of her mother and she is still a kitten! I tell Mum to look at their tails, Sophies barring is much lighter then Bridgets.
