There was Mellow who lived the longest of our first original cats. There was Tom, Whiskers, Precious, Duchess, Hairy, Alligator, Woo-Woo, Tiger, Zeeby (he just disappeared), Marie, Fluffy (who lived the longest of Hairy's kittens), Stripey, Burlose, Toulose, Alice, Little Mellow, Wild Kitty, Patches, Max, Beau, and many, many, many more. It's tough every single time they leave my life, but I know they're still around, even though I can't see them, I can still hear and/or feel them occassionally. Many of them died of old age, unknown causes, disappeared, distemper, put to sleep because of complications of feline leukemia, put to sleep because of old age, and some died not so pleasant deaths, but I remember every one of them, from what they sounded like to what they looked like to how they acted. I'll always love them, and now I'm starting to tear up so I think I'll stop. But they'll always hold a special spot in my heart.

Wow, it sounds like you have had a lot of losses. It sure is hard to know a sweet kitty, then to lose it. They were all lucky to have you to love and care for them.
Condolences on the loss of Mellow, Tom, Whiskers, Precious, Duchess, Hairy, Alligator, Woo-Woo, Tiger, Zeeby, Marie, Fluffy, Stripey, Burlose, Toulose, Alice, Little Mellow, Wild Kitty, Patches, Max, Beau, and the others.

I'm so sorry you've experienced so much loss. You're precious babies are certainly at peace now, playing together and watching over you. Thank you for the love and care you have them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and them.

How precious your kitties are to you, for them to remain in your hearts and thoughts. And what a wonderful cat family to greet you when you cross over Rainbow Bridge. I feel the same way, in fact, I still remember my first cats, Blackie & Mama Kitty, who were members of our family before I was born and I'm almost 49! I know that not everyone understands our attachment to our cats, but here in TCS, we find a plethora of kindred spirits!
BTW, Zeeby was so gorgeous!! what a loss, esp. not knowing what has happened to him.

I am sorry you lost so many special friends. I have lost quite a few myself. For a while my cats would only last a year. Either they would get hit by a car or just disappear. It is good to know that others feel the same as I do. It is hard losing something that means so much to you and it never gets easier no matter how many you lose.
